Minto Barrhaven | New Homes Sales Centre

3.6(103)✓ Google-verified

Minto Barrhaven draws strong praise for certain sales staff like Lisa and Harry, and customers report homes closed on schedule with warranty issues resolved promptly. Recent complaints focus on post-purchase disappointment: multiple homeowners faced electrical damage from a storm and claim the builder denied responsibility without investigation, the sales team gave conflicting instructions on lot release day, and some visitors describe the office as unwelcoming.

Caivan Conservancy Sales Gallery & Model Homes

4.3(24)✓ Google-verifiedPublishes prices

The sales gallery and model homes experience stands out to most visitors, who praise Caivan's staff (especially Gabe, Simon, and Fayja) for their knowledge and care in guiding first-time buyers. However, several owners report significant frustration with the completed homes: structural issues taking months to remedy, work finished weeks or months late, and inconsiderate job-site practices like early weekend work and debris left on lawns. Quality and reliability after purchase appear to be the dividing line. While recent visitors and new buyers enthuse about the design and the buying process itself, established residents voice concerns about warranty responsiveness and overall build standards. The business excels at the sales experience but struggles with post-completion accountability.

Caivan Magnolia Sales Gallery

4.2(135)✓ Google-verifiedPublishes prices

Virginia, Gabe, and the design team earn consistent praise for patience and expertise during the purchase phase, making first-time buyers feel supported through selections and upgrades. However, severe gaps emerge after possession: foundation cracks go unrepaired, warranty claims are denied, landscaping stays incomplete for months, and defects like leaking doors appear post-warranty with no recourse. Reviewers report paying $750 for a single toilet and $4,000 for a fireplace that functions poorly due to poor layout planning. Materials are described as low-grade (particle board, laminate vanities that crack). Multiple owners cite spending years chasing warranty repairs and structural fixes, with one owner discovering two major defects within two months of taking over a 2021 build.
