M Wood Kitchen delivers polished cabinetry and kitchen installations when projects stay on track, with staff like Maggie and Roger earning consistent praise for design guidance and responsiveness. However, a stripe of one-star reviews document serious gaps: uneven countertop and drawer misalignment, sink installation failures, and a pattern of ignoring callbacks or blocking unhappy clients after money changes hands.
Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.
All 11 reviews are five-star. Customers report consistent quality, on-time delivery, and transparent pricing across garage builds, full home renovations, and additions. Michael (owner/lead) and crew earn praise for professionalism, coordination of trades, cleanliness, and responsiveness to concerns.
Five-star reviews praise Danny, Oliver, and other staff for patient, knowledgeable design help and on-time shipping when projects move forward smoothly. But a smaller cluster of one-star reviews paint a darker picture: customers report months of silence after paying deposits, staff confusion over timelines and contract terms, incorrect plans that stall city permits, and near-complete lack of response to post-delivery damage or unfinished work. One customer reported over a year of delays and a building with misaligned walls and beams.
Summerwood builds solid garden structures backed by responsive staff who actively solve problems. Most customers report excellent quality, smooth ordering, and professional on-site work. A small minority faced shipping delays, vague assembly instructions, and disputes over what counts as pre-assembled; when things went wrong, their willingness to help varied dramatically. The business operates a Scarborough showroom where staff like John walk buyers through options in person. Named crew members (Don, Siva) receive specific praise for professionalism. Website tools let you render custom designs before ordering. Their service area spans Canada and the US. Long-term customers report warranty coverage for issues years after purchase.
