What recent reviews say

Sales and design staff earn consistent praise for professionalism and attentiveness, particularly Tala and the Ottawa team. However, post-purchase experience is marked by serious gaps: warranty responses are slow, evasive, and dismissive, with roof leaks, water infiltration, and construction defects taking years to address or going unacknowledged. Buyers report substandard finishes, poor workmanship, and a warranty department that deflects responsibility rather than resolving issues.

Common questions

What happens if I find defects in my home after purchase?
Warranty response has been slow and dismissive in many cases. One buyer waited months for an appointment. Reviewers recommend having roof, water sealing, and structural issues independently inspected before closing, and consider using Tarion claims rather than relying on the company's warranty department.
Can I see the design options before committing?
Yes, the design team offers consultation appointments. Reviewers praise the design staff as patient and knowledgeable, though one visit described initial rudeness from one employee offset by another staff member's professionalism.

Ryan and his crew deliver garage floors, lifts, storage, and doors that exceed expectations. Work consistently arrives on schedule, stays clean, and shows care for properties. Customers repeatedly name individual technicians-Samson, Nick, Max-as skilled and personable. Many praise durability after poor prior work elsewhere. The team explains every step and answers questions without brushing past concerns. Garage Living's strength lies in finishing what others botch. They grind failed coatings properly, install lifts on challenging slopes, and build custom wall storage with precision. Staff pride themselves on knack for detail and willingness to go extra: driveway cleanup, hands-on demos, explaining fabrication mid-job. Satisfaction spans simple floor coats to multi-day renovations.

Staff are described as helpful and professional. One reviewer had a negative experience with a gas-powered lawnmower that failed within three months and was unable to return it due to a different return policy for gas equipment.
